Our client have enjoyed growing contracts due to the high level of service they provide their customers they are now looking to add another skilled Sheet Metal Worker to the team.
The main purpose of this role is to manage sheet metal jobs and light fabrications from start to finish on time and to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced sheet metal worker, ideally coming from an Apprenticeship or NVQ or City and Guilds background.
This is a great opportunity to join a company offering a highly varied, interesting role, in a friendly environment, with long term stability and overtime opportunities.
The Role:
*Managing jobs from start to finish
*Working to a high-quality standard
*Reading and working with engineering drawings
*Sheet Metal work and Light Fabrications
*Overtime a week paid at 1.5X rate
The Person:
*Time-served with sheet metal and fabrication experience
*Ability to read from engineering drawings
*Strong MIG/TIG welding skills
*Capability to use fabrication shop machinery such as press brakes, inserters, rollers etc. confidently.
